For purposes of these Terms & Conditions, Cynthia Melendez / Seasoned Sailor Getaways is referred to as the “Travel Consultant.” GalaxSea Cruises and Tours may serve as the affiliated travel agency where applicable.
Documentation & Traveler Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for reviewing all proposals, itineraries, booking confirmations, invoices, names, dates, and other travel details for accuracy. Please report any errors within 24 hours of receipt. The Travel Consultant is not responsible for errors or omissions that are not promptly reported.
Each traveler is responsible for obtaining and carrying all documentation required for travel, including passports, visas, health documentation, and any required entry or exit documents.
For international travel, travelers should verify passport validity and destination-specific entry requirements before departure. Some destinations may require a passport to remain valid for six months beyond the travel dates.
Entry requirements may also be affected by a traveler’s individual circumstances, including prior criminal convictions or DUI/DWI records. It is the traveler’s responsibility to determine eligibility for entry into each destination.
Current international travel and entry information can be found through the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov.
Pricing
Travel quotes reflect the price and availability at the time the quote is provided and are not guaranteed until the reservation and required payment or deposit have been completed.
Prices may change due to supplier adjustments, exchange-rate fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, government fees, or other charges outside the Travel Consultant’s control.
Check-In & Travel Schedules
Travelers are responsible for monitoring their flight and transportation schedules and reconfirming departure information directly with the airline or transportation provider before travel.
As a general guideline, travelers should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights, unless the airline or airport recommends an earlier arrival.
Airline schedules, airport requirements, and departure times may change. The Travel Consultant is not responsible for supplier schedule changes, delays, or cancellations.
Travel Protection
Travel protection is strongly recommended to help protect your vacation investment and is not included unless specifically stated in your itinerary.
Coverage, exclusions, eligibility, and benefits vary by policy. Clients are responsible for reviewing and selecting the coverage appropriate for their needs.
Suppliers & Limitation of Responsibility
The Travel Consultant acts as an agent for independent travel suppliers, including cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation providers, and other travel-service companies. These suppliers operate independently and are responsible for providing their respective services.
The Travel Consultant does not control and cannot be held responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, service disruptions, injuries, losses, or other actions of independent suppliers or circumstances outside the Travel Consultant’s control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, strikes, illness or epidemics, terrorism, equipment failure, transportation disruptions, theft, or changes to itineraries and schedules.
All reservations are subject to the individual supplier’s payment, cancellation, refund, and change policies, including any applicable penalties or fees.
Clients remain responsible for all authorized charges associated with their reservations. If an authorized payment is declined or reversed, any outstanding balance remains the client’s responsibility, subject to applicable agreements and law.
Acceptance of Terms
By authorizing payment or submitting a trip deposit, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of themselves and the travelers included in their reservation.
